Well Water for Life Project
Introduction

Why?
Every day more than 4,500 children in developing countries die, simply because they lack access to clean safe drinking water. With your help, we can make a difference
[1]. In fact, out of the 2.2 million unsafe drinking water deaths in 2004, 90% were children under the age of five [2]. Water is essential to the treatment of diseases, something especially critical for children.

There is a vital need to continue tapping groundwater in order to provide fresh water supplies to these poverty-stricken rural communities. This preventative method will continue to contribute towards reducing the sicknesses and even death caused, particularly to children, who continue to use contaminated water sources. The aim of CNCF is towards continuous intervention, providing fresh water wells, with lever hand pumps to the people in the area.

Phase 2

The next phase of this project, we will be purchasing U.S. made drill equipment that will be easier to operate. Decreasing the cost per well. Eventually, it is hoped that we can establish a company to manufacture this type of drilling equipment using skilled and train unskilled workers, especially handicapped individuals. Go to the linked page to see what this equipment looks like and how it will operate.

VNCAP’s Well Water for Life Project is focused on reducing sickness and death resulting from drinking contaminated water.

VNCAP has been working to create the Well Water for Life Project, by providing awareness of this issue and find ways to help solve this problem. The VNCAP’s Well Water for Life Project is a focal philanthropic program that will send people out into the villages to drill the needed water wells that can supply drinking water that is clean and safe.

VNCAP is committed to improving the lives of people around in Vietnam, saving children's lives and providing clean drinking water to as many people as possible. As the creator and producer of this program, VNCAP provides both its technical expertise and financial support for this work, in addition to human resources, materials, education, research and advocacy for this very important issue.

Upon completion of drilling the water wells, VNCAP will join with other organizations to draw and store the drinking water in a safe and economical way. Some of the projects that we are looking into are:

Get involved with the work we are doing with charitable organizations and educational programs that support this effort to bring clean water to people in need.

Together we can make a difference.
